David Chlopecki began his IT career by running his Father’s software company Versi Data after earning his degree in Computer Science from NEIU in 1995.  At this time, he customized accounting software and implemented computer systems for businesses whose needs were becoming increasingly dependent on technology.  Shortly thereafter, he met Arnold Klein who was essentially doing the same thing with the same emphasis on client relations.  It was in 1997 that Dave merged the client base from his Father’s company with Arnie’s client base at Topel Forman and they turned their passion of implementing cutting edge technology into a successful, client-focused business.

Arnold Klein started in the computer industry prior to the advent of the personal computer. He started by designing and then writing software for a steel service center. With the advent of the personal computer many companies needed their staff trained on the use of personal computers and migrate people from the large heavy iron of mainframes to the smaller and more diverse applications available with personal computers. Starting in one of Chicago’s largest Insurance Information Center he gradually started helping small companies setting up their networks and writing custom database applications. He joined Topel Forman in setting up Topel Forman Information Services, LLC where he brought his client base along with Dave’s to build the company we have today.

Chip joined the firm in early 2007.  He graduated from DePaul University, School of Computer Science in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Human & Computer Interaction.  Chip’s core strengths are his attention to detail and his ability to bridge the gap between new technologies and peoples understanding of how those technologies can be used to meet their goals. Exemplary customer service has always been paramount for Chip and he prides himself on the ability to understand business operations, creating new avenues of productivity and efficiency, and building lasting professional relationships based on trust. On January 1st of 2016, Chip was made a Partner of the firm.
